Sergio Ribnikov Gunnarsson

Bouzouki, mandolin player and singer Sergio Ribnikov Gunnarsson hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina. With Russian, German and Spanish roots -and a Swedish heart-, he is the epitome of a multicultural renaissance man.  Not only a musician but also an ethnomusicologist at heart, his field of expertise is Nordic, Scottish and English folk music, but he has also performed and toured with Argentine, Irish, Bal Folk, Galician, Balkan, and Sufi music acts. Currently, he is one of the driving forces behind Swedish folk duo Vilsevind.
