Darin Kelly

Darin Kelly brings an extensive and diverse background of experience, reaching through cultural boundaries and genres. He has founded and led many sessions in his native Philadelphia, and remains a frequent collaborator with musicians throughout the eastern seaboard. Throughout his long career as a classical trumpeter, he has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra and other major ensembles worldwide, as well as lead both his own small jazz combos and 1930’s- centered Big Bands. As a composer/arranger, his music has been performed by the major orchestras of Boston, St. Louis, Buffalo, Philadelphia, and has developed orchestral arrangements for Solas and Cherish the Ladies.
