Matt and Shannon Heaton

Matt & Shannon play updated and traditional Irish music on flute, guitar, voices. 

Guitarist/bouzouki player Matt has performed with countless ensembles, including the Karan Casey Band, Boys of the Lough, and Robbie O’Connell. He also performs for children and families and has received multiple grants for his engaging sing alongs. Flutist/singer/composer Shannon co-founded Boston’s Celtic music fest, was named Massachusetts Traditional Artist Fellow in 2016, and hosts the culture podcast Irish Music Stories.
